Job Summary The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for technical knowledge, proficiency and productivity in the Loan Servicing Department ensuring that established policies and procedures are followed, and service standards are achieved.
Primary responsibility is to provide administrative functions within the Loan Servicing department.
Performs a variety of clerical and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy.
Applies accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of loan records.
Activities and tasks performed under limited supervision.
Performs computer-related operations on several different systems.
Essential Job Duties Monitor and ensure proper Insurance (Hazard, Liability, Flood, etc) coverage on all loans.
Monitor and clear all appropriate ticklers for each loan.
Manage billing statements.
Process loan payments (including Participations, interest reserves), advance requests and payoffs.
Perform loan file maintenance, as needed.
Process reconveyances, UCC3 releases, and other collateral releases as necessary.
Complete paid off checklists and shipment of files to offsite storage.
Assist with callback functions (daily work and loan boarding).
Monitor delinquent loans, AFT/ACH’s and maturing/matured loans.
Perform delinquent collections as needed.
Monitor delinquent property taxes.
Provide quality customer service to customers and respond to inquiries in a prompt and efficient manner.
Capable of backing up and supporting all aspects of the department with proper cross-training.
Willingness to learn and assist in all functions of the Credit Administration Department when necessary.
Provide proactive support to relationship managers and executive management, as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Associate's degree preferred.
Minimum three years of relevant work experience in banking/finance.
Experience with Jack Henry preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Word and Excel Computer & Software Skills Must have foundational computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook email and calendaring) and the Internet Travel Occasional local travel Additional Information (Annual) Minimum: $41,000 Maxium: $63,000
