Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support decision-making processes
- Stay updated on financial concepts, regulations, and best practices in the field
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper in a Nonprofit setting
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of nonprofit financial concepts
- Proficiency in Quickbooks Nonprofit
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.
00 - $26.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
