We are seeking a Bookkeeper to contribute to the success of the Business Office Department by effectively and efficiently managing the bank and floor plan reconciliations and preparation of various filing for all franchise locations in addition to maintaining sales records and taking appropriate action on various accounting duties and processes and by successfully handling the processes and record retention related to dealer trades, wholesales, and inventory purchases.

Responsibilities :
Effectively and Efficiently Manage Bookkeeping Functions for All Franchises:
Reconcile all bank activity on a daily basis; ensure company books are identical to bank’s books; verify all EFT for accuracy
Complete tire tax returns on a quarterly basis
Prepares monthly floor plan reconciliations, ensuring match to ban
Prepares monthly bank reconciliations
Assists the Controller and Accounting Managers as needed in, but not limited to, these areas:
Reconciling and finalizing month end procedures
Directing and archiving of all business documents and files for purging and/or sending to storage
As determined by the Controller, schedule review and auditing for books
Assist controller with monthly preparation of financial statements and statistical data
Qualifications :
Minimum of 5 years in position of Bookkeeper or similar positions in automotive industry.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; at least 3 years retail related experience.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Desired; Current California Driver License with satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicle driving record.
Degree/Diploma : High School Diploma/GED : Required Licenses Required : Valid CA Driver License
