*Income Tax Preparer - 3+Yrs Experience Required* Seeking a highly motivated and experienced tax professional that has excellent communication skills, we need you to help our customers file their tax returns.
You will play an important role in enhancing our brand by educating our customers and empowering them to complete their taxes.

*Qualifications* · Our firm is seeking an experienced tax professional to assist with preparing individual and business tax returns · Tax preparation experience of at least 3 years with the following forms 1040, Sch C, 1120S, and 1065 is required utilizing professional tax preparation software.
· Knowledge of Drake software is a plus · Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) is also a plus · Experience preparing and filing start-to-end customer personal returns consisting of a variety of topics, including employment, self-employment, rental, investments, foreign income, and all credits/deductions · Have a current and active CTEC ID & PTIN to allow your use of the CTEC ID on each return filed.
· Working knowledge of tax laws and tax concept · Superior critical thinking and problem-solving skills · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Highly technical and comfortable with Zoom, Windows, QuickBooks, DocuSign, and mobile platforms.
· Strong customer service and customer experience insight · Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish + read, write, speak) is an asset · This is an in-house role; you must be in the office, minimum of 5 days a week, option to include/exclude weekend.
· Individual hired will undergo Fingerprint, background check inspection and references will be verified.
*Responsibilities* · Provide tax guidance for personal & business tax returns · Full-time from January 15th to April 15th (40 hours) and there's potential for a permanent hire at the end of the season.
· Meet with customers, prepare and detail review their tax return to ensure accuracy and compliance by providing tax guidance.
· Research tax regulations to provide accurate advice on how to maximize customers’ tax returns · Create high quality customer interactions and experiences that instill confidence using deep customer empathy and your in-depth tax knowledge and expertise · Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive financial data.
· Proactively seek out and deliver the right answer for each customer by utilizing government websites, professional resources, and team expertise and translating that information into everyday language for customers · Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle a fast-paced work environment.
· Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess experience in effectively deescalating critical scenarios and demonstrate strong management skills.
