Tasks include but not limited to, providing support with daily accounting tasks, focusing on Accounts Payables and Receivables, daily / monthly payments and billables with our company and affiliate businesses.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, be detail oriented and have strong communication skills.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain valuable experience in the accounting field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accounting records in accordance with accepted accounting principles.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing procedure.
- Process monthly and quarterly tax reports for gross sales to submit to the city and state.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records (paper and digital).
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Support team in various administrative tasks and provide administrative support to executives or managers.
- Assist with the reconciliation of accounts and bank statements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Manage a high volume of clients and projects and prioritize accordingly
Education, Experience, Training:
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is required (1 year minimum).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; minimum 1 -2 years Accounting experience,
- Proficiency and experience in Excel (required) and Quickbooks (strongly preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, especially most up to date processes.
Skills:
- Transcribe: Ability to accurately transcribe financial data from various sources.
- Office: Proficiency in using office equipment such as printers, scanners, and copiers.
- Project Coordination: Ability to assist in coordinating accounting projects and initiatives.
- Computerise: Familiarity with computerized accounting systems and software.
- Clerk: General clerical skills, including filing, organizing, and maintaining records.
- Math: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
● Must be 21 years of age or older – no exceptions!
● Must have a valid California driver’s license and reliable means of transportation.
● Must complete livescan background check.
● Must be able to work part time with open availability from Mon-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Physical Requirements
● Move, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds.
● Regularly perform various repetitive motions such as carrying, grasping, lifting, walking, standing, bending/crouching, stooping, reaching, and stretching.
● Grasping, holding, lifting and other repetitive movements involving wrists and hands are required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.
00 - $25.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
